The Gum Bears :)

Hi everyone! Its been a long time since my last post and there's good news! you all probably wondered how I went with the spoonflower 2012 tea towel weekly competition, I came 63rd place with 203 votes. I couldn't be happier with the result.

Just a few months ago, I entered another design of mine 'The Gum Bears' into another spoonerflower weekly competition, themed 'what's the new owl?' and guess what?!?!? I came 9th place with 477 votes! One morning I went onto spoonflower and found I had lots of lovely messages from other users of spoonflower congratulating me for being in the top ten. I am so happy to know all of you out there who loves the Gum Bears as much as I do! ^_^

Kotori 2012 Tea Towel Calendar

I have been trying out designing my own fabrics on Spoonflower.com. If you haven't been on this site, you should check it out! its seriously addictive. On the site you can upload your own designs and get them printed on different kinds of fabrics. You can also browse through other peoples designs and purchase fabrics based on their designs as well.

What made it really fun for me is trying out their weekly contests. Each weekly contest has a theme and you can create and enter your own designs into the contests. The tea towel contest doesn't end until the 8th November, so in the meantime, I really suggest you to have a go designing and entering in their contests and see how you go! I will let you know how my design goes in later blog entries :)
